Below are the currently-approved rules for members and guests of the Waterford Pool. Please note that these rules are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all members and guests, and that violations can be cause for removal from the facility.
(A) Admission to this facility is refused to persons having any of the following:
(1) Any contagious disease or infectious condition such as colds, fever, ringworms, foot infections, skin lesions, carbuncles, boils, inflamed eyes, ear discharge, etc.
(2) Excessive sunburn, abrasions which have not healed, corn plasters, bunion pads, adhesive tape, rubber bandages, or other bandages.
(3) Under the influence of alcohol or exhibiting erratic behavior.
(4) Persons who have not had a shower or bath.
(B) No food, drink, gum or tobacco are allowed in the facility area.
(C) No running and no boisterous or rough play (except supervised water sports) are allowed.
(D) Spectators and persons in street shoes are not allowed in the facility area or in the “wet” areas of the bathhouse, except those engaged in official duties.
(E) No spitting, spouting of water, or nose blowing are allowed in the pool.
(F) No glass, soap or similar type hazards are allowed in this facility area.
(G) Clean swimming apparel is requied.
(H) Diving in shallow water is not permitted.
(I) No animals are allowed in the facility area.
(J) No one 16 years of age or under is to enter the facility without a responsible person 17 years of age or older present.
(K) No person may enter the facility area alone or “swim alone.”
