Homeowners Board

Meet your Waterford HOA II Homeowners Association Board of Directors below. Board members are elected or, in the case of unanticipated resignations, appointed to serve. All officers are elected by vote of the Board. All board memberships are volunteer positions, and members are neither compensated nor receive any discounts or in-kind benefits in consideration for their time and service.

Your HOA Board members are responsible, among other things, for hiring and overseeing the Property Management and Pool Management Companies as well as the HOA bookkeeper. Board Members meet once a month to discuss issues, management of funds, improvement opportunities, receive committee and property manager reports and allow community members the opportunity to provide concerns, comments and suggestions. Amanda Stumbo – President

Amanda Stumbo is proud to be a mother to Aubrey and Parker, a wife to John and is professionally passionate about her work as the Head of Commercial Marketing for Alltech. She is very interested in using her experience to help make Waterford the best neighborhood to live in Lexington and hopes to have the opportunity to do so as a part of the HOA Board.

Bryan Smith – Vice President

Bryan along with his wife Laura and daughter Truby have been proud, Rolling Creek Ln. residents of Waterford for three years. With a background in management in both private and public sectors along with multiple positions for nonprofit organizations he hopes to serve our neighborhood with compassion and fiscally responsible leadership. Bryan enjoys being socially active within our community, helping others whenever possible and spending time with Family. He looks forward to continuing the great work of past and current board members while helping to make Waterford the premier neighborhood for Lexington residents.

Rachael Benezet – Secretary

Rachael and her husband have been a Waterford residents for three plus years and have found it to be a wonderful community to raise their family.  She is a transplant nurse coordinator at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center where she has worked for over nine years. She has been involved with multiple councils at UK which will aid in the familiarity and processes of board activities and communication with members of the community. The community in Waterford is rising with close-knit families and she would like to see that evolve more with a goal of no one knowing a stranger.

Traci Doleman – Treasurer

Traci and her family have lived in Waterford since October 2012. She’s excited to serve on the board so that she can continue to ensure that Waterford is a a premier neighborhood to live in. She loves the community that we have here and would like to see it grow in social events to make it all the more like family.  She has been part of the pool, clubhouse, and social events since moving here, she feels she has made so many friends throughout the years because of those. Community is important to her.

Matt Ellis – Director

Matt Ellis has been a resident of Waterford since 2017 and resides on Rolling Creek Lane. He is the President of a construction consulting firm headquartered in Nicholasville, KY. Matt resides with his wife of 10 years and three children, ages, 7, 4, and 6 months. Matt wants to volunteer his time on the Waterford board to ensure Waterford continues to be one of the most desirable neighborhoods for people to live in Lexington. He enjoys coaching baseball and basketball, playing golf, swimming at our beautiful neighborhood pool, cookouts, and spending time with his family and you can always find him working on a project around his house.

Josh Franklin – Director

Josh Franklin is a Waterford resident since 2019 and is married to Kristen, they have a daughter who is 3 named Kenzie. They are avid pool-goers and look forward to joining the swim team soon. Josh is a Tournament Director for BDG Sports in Lexington, and has been involved in organizing many events including professional golf and college basketball tournaments in the US and the Bahamas. Josh wants to be on the board because he loves the community that is at Waterford. His favorite part of the neighborhood are the social gatherings and the willingness for neighbors to help one another on a regular basis.

Jacob Robinson – Director

Since 2009, Jacob Robinson has been lucky to call Whitewater Drive home.  Jacob and his wife Sarah have two wonderful children, Griffin (5) and Emily (2).  Professionally, Jacob is a Vice President for a local community bank and is an active entrepreneur with several small business ventures.  Outside of work, he participates in various community service activities, most recently serving with Commerce Lexington EMERGE and Lexington Habitat for Humanity.  Giving back and getting involved has always been extremely important to Jacob.  The sense of community and friendships built in Waterford drive Jacob’s desire to serve on the HOA Board of Directors and contribute to this amazing community.  He looks forward to working with neighbors to build upon the past HOA successes and help navigate Waterford into the future!
