Waterford Pool Frequently Asked Questions

The HOA Board of Directors and Waterford Pool Committee look forward to another successful pool season! We are excited to see you for opening day on Saturday, May 25th at 11:00 am. We have put together the following FAQ to help answer questions and provide updated information.

We have been hard at work during the off season with numerous maintenance projects and pool upgrades. Some of the recent accomplishments include: replaced drinking fountains with bottle filler combo units, pool house interior/exterior and fence painted, new sunshades- have been ordered, new umbrellas, new pump, new automated robot vacuum system, new diving board, upgraded lighting in bathrooms, new toilet paper and paper towel dispensers, remodeled pump room to address code violations, upgraded pool electrical system and exterior outlets, replaced pool lights.

Your pool committee members are Jason Easton, Josh Franklin, Casey Scott, Alden Carroll, and Jacob Robinson. The pool is managed by Todd Slusher via his company, Lexington Pools. Please feel free to give us any feedback or suggestions you see fit.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to DMI or the HOA Board with any questions!

  5. FOB System
The Pool and clubhouse have been changed to a FOB entry system in which each address will receive Two (2) FOBs. These fobs will allow you access to the pool during pool hours and the clubhouse during paid rental times only. All Waterford residents in good standing with the Association are eligible for pool membership. The FOB’s used to enter the pool are the same as last year. If you have your FOB from last year and you have paid your HOA dues, you do not need to do anything else. If you have lost them or cannot locate them, they can be purchased for $15 each. You must contact the property management company to set up a time to get a replacement FOB. If you never received your FOB last year, then you must sign the FOB agreement and pick them up. You can schedule an appointment by emailing the property management company.
  6. Pool Party Rules
    • Maximum of thirty people (including parents for children’s party) and you must schedule the rental if there are more than five guests
    • The pool rental form must be completed, signed, and returned to DellaValle Management Inc
    • Pool parties cannot begin until the lifeguard on duty meets with attendees to review the Waterford pool rules and regulations
    • Only members in good standing can rent the pool
    • Events with more than fifteen guests required $150 fee for lifeguard coverage
    • No scheduled parties on holiday weekends- Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day
    • Parties for guests under the age of six require a guardian for each swimmer
    • Failure to seek pre-approval will result in a $150 member assessment

  7. Pool Closures & Inclement Weather
From time to time, we must close the pool for various reasons such as inclement weather. We will always post updates on Facebook. We are also working on a mass communication system to notify residents via their personal electronic device. More to come on that! We will always attempt to re-open the pool once it’s safe for members and lifeguards.
