The board approved work to begin on improving the lower pond area. This is being done through a grant provided by the city. Work will include the stabilization of the pond banks that have been severely eroded, repair of the spillway, repair and improvement of the rainwater overflow waterway, bordering Clearwater Way and construction of an access bridge across the overflow waterway to enhance the enjoyment of the pond area. The work should start this month and may impact traffic on Clearwater Way at times.
