There is a proposal to rezone the parcel just south of the Man o’ War and Saron Drive Shell Station from R-4 (high-density apartments) to B-6P (planned shopping center – restaurant with drive-through services and retail services). 

The HOA Board would appreciate your input as to what position, if any, should be taken on behalf of the neighborhood during the public hearing on September 24.   The first part of the next board meeting (rescheduled for 7 pm, Wednesday, Sep 17) will be set aside for input and discussion on this issue.  We invite you to attend and participate so we’ll be able to make the best decision possible. We’ll all relevant documents (including the staff study referred to in the letter from LFUCG) as soon as they’re available to us.
